Yard Sale
Saturday, April 19 , 8 AM - 1 PM
To benefit the teen ministry. Lots of stuff! Also, a bake sale and lunch on the grill available for purchase. Be sure to come out to support our teens and find some great bargains!
The Blessed Cafe
Wednesday Evenings
Delicious homemade meals, including beverage and desert, are served each Wednesday from 6:30 - 7:00 P.M. before the School of Christian Ministry classes and activities. Minimum suggested donation $3 per person, $12 max per family, $35 per person and $150 max per family for the entire 13 week session. Reservations are due the Monday before each class. School of Christian Ministry
Wednesday Evenings, 7:15 - 8:30 P.M.
- Men's Fraternity - "Winning at Work and Home," focuses on the two areas that are central to a man's life: career and family. It explores how a man can enjoy and engage his work and how he can relate to a woman in a whole new way. Newcomers are welcome! Contact: Steve Thomas
- Healing Workshop - A healing workshop for men and women. The class will examine principles of healing and spend time in prayer for specific healing needs. Contacts: Dan and Scotti Duis
- Ladies' Bible Study - A women's group study entitled "Living and Loving Deeply in Christ," a walk through the books of 1, 2 and 3 John. Contact: Anne Thomas
- Teens - For the Junior and senior High. Contact: Andrew Keener
- Children - Gospel Light Children's Church for kids ages 4 and up. Contact: Pam Kelly
- Mom's group - An informal mom's group for expecting mothers and mothers of nursery age children that will meet for fellowship while babies and toddlers enjoy the stimulation of great toys, games and interacting with one another! Contact: Nanmarie Hockstra

CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training and certification will be offered at Shepherd Gate withing the coming months. If you are interested in taking this class, please contact the church office at 703-961-1040.

Shepherd Gate Church has both near-term and long-term plans with the Lord's leading.
Initially we are helping to fill Point of Distribution centers with recovery kits to cover disasters in the United States from tornadoes, floods, fires, hurricanes, etc.
