Summer is winding down and we have been busy with camps, VBS, and mission trips. August will end with a Musical
Theater Performance and then back to school. Our thanks to the staff for all their efforts to bless the church and especially the young of the flock with these wonderful events. A mid all the excitement, David Sanborn has announced his return to the stage beginning with a run at the soon to be open Museum of the Bible this November. Sensing a call outside of the local church, he will continue to travel and teach bringing his passion for Jesus to many people around the world. Our prayers and blessings go with him in this new endeavor.
The fall Discipleship Training Course is now open for registration. The course will beg in just after Labor Day and finish just before Thanksgiving. The outreach for the program is now planned for January. If you think the Virgin Islands sound good in the middle of the winter, plan on registering now!
September always seems like the start of a new year as the kids head off to school and the church beings its annual
programs. Hopefully, everyone is refreshed and ready to dig into the excitement of a new season. With that being said, Scotti is initiating a survey of the Bible for beginners in September before our Sunday service. We are always looking for ways to help prepare our folds for a lifetime of learning through the scriptures. Looking forward to seeing everyone following the summer vacation!
