| Because Cubbies are not yet in kindergarten, they are generally unable to read. For this reason, they need the most intensive help in learning their verses. Their book contains fun stories to help them understand the week's lesson, using their favorite characters from Cubbies club.
Consult the calendar below to see what verse they should be learning each week, then go over it for the week before they go over it in class. If they are three, they don't need to learn the reference for the verse, but when they are four years old they should be learning the reference as well! Most importantly, make it fun!
Please remember: Cubbies must recite verses with no more than two "helps" per verse to be signed off in their books. 4-year old Cubbies will be required to recite both the lesson verse and the Scripture reference! |
