Discipleship Development Series
We at Shepherd Gate Church are committed to helping each person have effective and influential involvement in the work of Christ in the world. The desire for our ministry is to see people grow in their relationship with Christ and to fulfill their potential as children of God. We have designed a series of classes that are intended to help you along your journey and as part of the body of Christ.
SG 101 - Connecting to the Church
God has created us to be connected to Him and to each other as a community of believers. This class explains the basics of church involvement and Shepherd Gate Church's vision and beliefs. It also discusses the outline for this entire series of discipleship classes. It will provide an understanding of membership at Shepherd Gate.

SG 201 - Commitment to Maturity
In this class we will examine some key disciplines and lifestyle principles that are needed for a healthy relationship with God. We will explore reading the Bible, prayer, connecting with other believers, sharing our faith with others, stewardship of our time and resources, and living a Holy Spirit filled life.

SG 301 - Commisioned to Service
As a believer, God has given you talents and spiritual gifts to be used for advancing His kingdom. This class will help you to understand your unique composition and how God has designed you for His purposes. It is intended to guide you in developing as a servant and give you an understanding of service in ministry.

SG 401 - Caring for the World
As we mature in our relationship with God, we begin to take on His concern for the world. In this class we will take you further into leadership devlopment within the church and the Great Commission to the world.
