It's a fact that most men do not have a close friend - someone in whom they can confide; someone who will be there when they need help or just someone to listen. We don't want Shepherd Gate men to be among those without a close friend. We want to build men who know their identity in Jesus as their Lord and Savior, men whose lives are balanced, and who are developing into leaders in their homes, their workplaces, their church, and their community.

Our men's ministry plans events to meet the needs of every man. We have an annual retreat held in the Spring. We also have Monthly Breakfasts at Shepherd Gate Church on the first Saturday of each month. Check out our website calendar for the next breakfast date and time. We sure hope you'll join us.
Next year's Annual Men's Retreat will be held March 2-4, 2012 at Skycroft Conference Center (www.skycroft.org). Skycroft is a beautiful retreat center where you will be comfortable, learn new things about God, and hear talks by guys just like yourself, describing their own challenges and victories in following Christ. There is a weekly Men's Bible Study on Wednesdays, 6:30 - 7:45 P.M. at Shepherd Gate Church. The men are currently doing a parallel study of the four Gospels and, when that is finished, will continue to study through the New Testament.
